10. In cooperation with City Park , WYES has received funding from Coca-Cola to develop a family educational component to the project being developed by the Trust for Public Land around the “ Big Lake ” at the front of City Park.

7. The annual Roper public opinion poll on public institutions came out in March. For the 5th year in a row PBS ranks as the most trusted institution measured, outscoring Congress, the federal government, the courts, commercial television networks, newspaper publishing companies and cable television networks.
6. The poll also said PBS is second only to the military as an “excellent value for tax dollars.”
5. PBS news and public affairs programs ranked #1 in trust among CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC, NPR, MSNBC and Fox News.
