WYES CHOCOLATE SUNDAY will also hold a silent auction featuring over 35 items valued at approximately $10,000! Bid on manicure parties from Earthsavers to a six-month membership at the House of Blues. Click here for all auction items. Winners need not be present and will be announced the day of the event.

Though chocolate is the main attraction at this chocoholic’s dream come true, guest are sure to enjoy the chocolate-inspired fashion presentation under the direction of Tracee Dundas, Creative Director of Fashion Week New Orleans.  The presentation will include avant-garde creations by designers Pedram Taheri, Nina Sainta Marina, as well as the creative talents of sculptor Elizabeth Shannon, hat milliner Kate McNee, makeup artist Aimee Carr and Erin Moreau of The Blow Dry Bar. Also, there will be performances by The MuffALottas, the Mardi Gras Chorus and a visit from the Elmer Bunny!

TICKETS TO WYES CHOCOLATE SUNDAY may be purchased online at wyes.org or at Blue Frog Chocolates, 5707 Magazine Street or at WYES, 916 Navarre Avenue. Prices, in advance, are $50 for the VIP Hour, $35 general admission, $30 for groups of 6 or more and seniors 55-or-older. At the door, tickets are $40. CONDITIONS OF SALE – Proceeds will benefit WYES, 916 Navarre Avenue, New Orleans, LA  70124.

Items will be sold to the highest bidder at the full amount of the successful bid. The highest bidder acknowledged by WYES shall be the purchaser.  WYES reserves the right to withdraw any property at any time before actual sale.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  WYES reserves the right to dispose of the property in any manner it deems appropriate if the successful bidder does not remove the property within the agreed upon period of time.   No Louisiana state or local tax is required on the purchase of items offered for sale by the Greater New Orleans Educational Television Foundation (WYES), which is  a tax-exempt organization.

REMOVAL OF PROPERTY – All Sales are final – Successful bidders must arrange for payment and removal of purchases before Friday, February 14th.  Payments may be made by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  Items may be paid for and picked up at the WYES Studios located at 916 Navarre Avenue, New Orleans, during the following hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4:30 PM.

RESERVE BIDS – Reserve bids will be accepted until Thursday, February 6, 2014.  The reserve bids will be submitted when the item is closed and goes into the final silent bid-off.  So bid high now!
