There will probably never be a late August in our lives when we won’t recall the events of 2005 and wonder how far our recovery has come since then. We will do the same tonight. We will also look at some key local elections on the Fall ballot, an attempted power shift in Jefferson Parish and the latest on the St. John parish shootings. Our Future Watch segment examines the economic impact of the Huey P. Long bridge renovation and we will check the gauges in The Times-Picayune media storm.
