Renee Gill Pratt may finally be heading to jail and that will bring an end to a string of convictions handed out to associate of former congressman William Jefferson’s political organization. We’ll look at the political impact of the Jefferson years.

We’ll also examine Bobby Jindal trying to rebuild public support, university presidents as civic activists, what we learned from Hurricanes Katrina and Isaac and, on this Labor Day weekend, the status of organized labor locally.
