At a time when seemingly everyone is critical of the Times-Picayune’s decline, Ray Nagin might be thinking that less news is better, especially in a week when so much of the news has been bad for him. We’ll discuss tonight the plights of the former mayor and the soon- to- be former daily.
We’ll also look at the effect of the health care law in Louisiana and at the Hornets, for whom the news lately has been exceptionally good. Our Future Watch segment revisits riverfront development. On the dock for us are tonight’s Informed Sources:

  • Errol Laborde, Producer, Informed Sources.
  • Jason Berry, freelance journalist and author of a recent article in The Nation magazine about the Times-Picayune.
  • Dawn Ostrum, our Future Watch reporter.
  • Rob Masson, morning anchor and reporter, WVUE TV, Ch. 8
  • Host, Larry Lorenz
