When Congress back in 1845 chose the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of each leap year to be the date when presidential electors were chosen they could not have realized the global event they were creating. We’ll look tonight at presidential elections in Louisiana and at some key local issues on the ballot. We’ll also examine Fred Heebee’s latest surprising lawsuit and new approaches to fighting crime. And we will analyze how the east coast superstorm could change the discussion about hurricanes.
