This day after Thanksgiving is increasingly being referred to as Black Friday. In New Orleans the phrase takes on extra significance because of the many street lights still out. One bright spot locally is streetcar service. Our Future Watch segment examines the latest expansion. We’ll also discuss the Newhouses’ latest moves against daily newspapers, an investigation of the Kenner housing program, and an effort to build a monument to a legendary concert hall. And, on this weekend of giving thanks we will assess the quality of social services.
At the table for us are tonight’s Informed Sources:

  • Errol Laborde, Producer, Informed Sources.
  • Rob Masson, reporter, WVUE-TV, Ch. 8.
  • Dawn Ostrom, Our Future Watch reporter.
  • Bill Capo, reporter, WWL-TV, Ch. 4
  • Larry Lorenz, Host
