The River Birch case once seemed like the most explosive investigation on the local scene, but ultimately it did more damage to the prosecutors than to the investigated. This week the River Birch case ended meekly. We’ll look at a process that even the judge was critical of. Well also examine the case against Ray Nagin . . . a post-Katrina fraud in hazard mitigation . . . a gas station war,  and the latest from a warring restaurant family. Our Future Watch segment examines an invasive new ant threatening the area.
