volunteers like you to operate. Whatever your interests may be, WYES has a volunteer
position to fit.
At WYES you can volunteer as an individual or
bring in a group of volunteers to
answer phones during our membership drive. View the calendar below to find an upcoming WYES event that

Volunteers support WYES in various ways:
Answer
phones for membership drives
Bulk mailings
Call members
Office help for both Showboat and Art
Auctions
Provide amazing office support
Provide help in several different positions
for auctions
If you are interested in ensuring the availability of
high quality television programs to
people in our area.
If you are age 16 or over.
If you are team oriented and enjoy working
with
people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
If you are a student in the need of service hours.

Have an informal interview. Complete a
Volunteer Profile Form and return it to WYES.
Wait to be contacted about volunteer opportunities.
Participate in training or orientation sessions when necessary.
Sign in a volunteer book each time you come to the station
to keep track of all your volunteer hours.
Once your application is received, we will place you according to your skills or interest
depending on the current positions available.
Some volunteer positions at WYES are very popular. If the position you would like is
filled, we will place you on a waiting list. We will contact you as soon as an
opening becomes available.
WYES will provide you with the necessary training and resources to successfully perform
your position.
The level of commitment varies with each volunteer position. WYES expects you to
fulfill your commitment to the best of your ability.
