Rebuilding Our Coast
Louisiana’s coastal wetland, America’s WETLAND, is one of the largest and most productive wetlands in North America but is threatened by rapid and severe erosion. In 2003 the America’s WETLAND Foundation was founded to manage a comprehensive public education campaign and raise public awareness of the impact Louisiana’s wetland loss has on the state, nation and world in order to gain support for efforts to restore coastal Louisiana.
