Rebuilding Our Coast
The origins of the COALITION TO RESTORE COASTAL LOUISIANA date to 1985 when scientists, activists and policy advisors recognized the importance of Louisiana’s coast and called for the protection and restoration of the vanishing wetlands. The COALITION incorporated in 1988 and continues to represent the participation of many different interests from among businesses, local governments, scientists and concerned citizens in the ongoing effort to protect and preserve the Louisiana coast.
