Volunteers can register for one or multiple days
Directions and additional information about what to bring to the event will be provided to registered volunteers via e-mail a few days prior to the event.
All planting equipment (gloves, shovels, etc.), lunch, and refreshments will be provided.
Volunteers will be planting 800 cypress trees and wrapping the trees with protectors to shield them from predators.
Volunteers will be transported to the planting site by boat. This will be a muddy day. This is a strenuous and dirty activity, so physical fitness is required.
We request that all volunteers please register to let us know if you plan to attend. You can complete an online registration form at the www.crcl.org or call the Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana at 1-(888)-LACOAST for more information.
We understand that plans can change. If, after registering, you find you are unable to attend the event, please email Coalition@crcl.org and let us know if you have to cancel so we can make your spot available to other potential volunteers.
