Producers Circle and Other Major Gift Opportunities

A small, but influential group of donors is having a profound effect on the future of WYES by making gifts that are well above traditional membership levels.

Many of these major donors make their gifts through the WYES Producers Circle, whose members contribute $1,200 and more each year. Others make large one-time gifts to fund a specific program or series, extend outreach opportunities, or purchase a needed piece of broadcast equipment.

Whereas membership and corporate gifts support the WYES mission, major donors extend that mission. The Producers Circle has funded many of this station’s most watched local cultural programs. Over the past year, major gifts have helped this station restore our service to New Orleans, southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast region, and they are now helping us rebuild our destroyed broadcast facility.
