In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the six-part series will remember those who worked to increase awareness of the problem, make clear the severity of the impact of coastal loss to the state of Louisiana and urge the need for immediate action.

Listen to discussions with coastal experts, scientists, policy makers and non-governmental organization leaders about the early warnings and activities aimed at protecting, restoring and rebuilding the Louisiana coast along with assessing how the steps taken to save the coast have worked so far.

Former Executive Director of the Louisiana Office of Coastal Protection and Restoration, Steve Mathies, whose long career has been focused on coastal issues is the project consultant and co-host.
