April is the month when we usually head to festivals for music and food and fun, but not this year. The COVID-19 pandemic has once again caused plans to change. The latest LIVING IN THE NEW NORMAL looks into when we can plan to head to “Festivals” again.

Producer and host Marcia Kavanaugh is joined by panelists: Executive Director of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and FoundationDon Marshall and President & CEO French Quarter Festivals, Inc. Emily Madero to discuss the schedule for return of the festivals. Also featured is Director of the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Economy Lisa Alexis who explains how the city is working with organizations in planning upcoming events.
